Imperial China: Postcard with Missionaries. Tsintau Cancelation

1898: b/w postcard depicting German missionaries on the leave. German soldiers and Chinese seeing them off.







Attached is a German 10 Pfennig stamp with a China imprint, tied by a TSINTAU China 26/12 98 - cancellation. Wilhelmshaven arrival mark.

Slight wear, a few brown spots form aging at the top border.

1 Cents Imperial Chinese Post - postal card, hand drawing at the front side. It depicts the lager and the walls of protection with flags.





Upfranked with ½ + 1 + 2 Cents stamps, tied by 3 bilingual oval-cancellations: Peking Mar. 10. 1901.

Fine condition, clean and fresh.

WW2: Postcard to Jewish Immigrant Shanghai. Censored.

W.W.II.: 15 Pfennig Hindenburg Deutsches Reich Postcard + 2 stamps. Berlin, Air-mail to Moscow, then by train via Siberia to Shanghai, 22. 03. 1941. Red Nazi Censor - strike (Oberkommando der Wehrmacht ).




Postcard by Martha Sara Loewinsohn to Paul Wahrburg, a Jewish Gentleman who fled from the Nazi and immigrated to Shanghai. Interesting text, hard to read though since it is written rather small.

Scarce document related to Jewish refugees to China.

Portugal: Very scarce Misprinted Stamp on 1935 Cover

Red Cross, Portugal: Red Cross cover with a double imprinted stamp. Added is a sheet of an old stamp dealer, explaining the history of the stamp: " These exceedingly rare stamps, there being but 50 of each used on cover in existence, .......".





Scarce cover in very good condition. Additional cancellation on flip side.
